  Chai Shanshan told reporters that he had a dream of being a teacher since he was a child. However, due to family economic reasons, he did not continue his studies after graduating from technical secondary school, but set foot on the road to Shanghai and became a postal laborer.

  Loading and unloading, sorting, repacking and loading … … In 2004, all mail processing required manual operation.

  "At that time, the most loaded packages were some luggage and books, and everyone needed to handle nearly 2,000 bags of packages every day on average."   In 2011, Shanghai Post Branch held a business training competition for all employees.
